Effort, experience, and separate lessons may now fit together into a result you can recognize. Completion deserves attention before the next beginning takes over.
A finished chapter is not a permanent stopping point. It gives you a stronger place from which to begin again.

What The World means
When The World turns up, a project, journey, or stage may be reaching meaningful completion. The outcome reflects more than one final action; it gathers everything learned along the way.
This can be a time of achievement, travel, graduation, recognition, or the sense that you now belong within a larger whole. Let yourself register the accomplishment instead of immediately raising the next standard.
Completion also includes closure. Finish the remaining detail, share the result, or say the goodbye that allows the chapter to become whole.
Symbolism
In the Rider-Waite-Smith card, a central figure dances within an oval wreath. The wreath forms a complete boundary while its ribbons suggest an infinity sign, joining completion with continuing movement.
The figure holds a wand in each hand and appears balanced between positions. The dance conveys mastery that remains alive and responsive rather than fixed.
In the four corners are a human figure, eagle, lion, and bull. These figures also appear in Wheel of Fortune, but here they surround a settled center rather than a turning wheel.
The open sky gives the image a sense of scale and connection. Individual experience has found its place within something broader.
Upright meaning
Upright, The World favors completion, successful integration, and the satisfaction of reaching an important milestone. Bring the work to its final form and allow it to be seen.
You may understand how earlier challenges contributed to a skill or perspective you now possess. That integration is part of the achievement.
Celebrate appropriately, then consider what this completion makes possible. The next cycle can begin without diminishing the one you have finished.
Reversed meaning
Reversed, The World may show unfinished business, delayed closure, or a goal that is close but still missing an important piece. Do not confuse being tired of the process with being finished.
You might also be withholding recognition from yourself because the result differs from an idealized version. Assess what was actually accomplished and what still requires action.
Complete the smallest meaningful loose end. Closure often becomes possible through one specific decision rather than another broad effort.
Love and relationships
In a love reading, The World can indicate fulfillment, a shared milestone, or a relationship entering a more complete and established stage.
If you are single, you may be closing an old cycle and becoming available for a connection that fits the person you are now. Travel or a wider community can also be relevant.
